Availability refers to the availability of information resources. An information system that is not available when you need it is almost as bad as none at all. Information and other critical assets are accessible to customers and the business when needed. Note, information is unavailable not only when it is lost or destroyed, but also when access to the information is denied or delayed (i.e. information is available on a web site, but the server is overwhelmed by a denial of service attack and no one can access it).

The major risks to data availability are business disruptions, loss of customer confidence and loss of revenue. Our solution to the minimising these risks lie in our Business Continuity Planning approach.

High availability and redundant solutions – Avoiding single point of failures and ensuring efficient capacity.
Data backup – Backing up data to storage devices and cloud.
Network configuration backups – Backups of network, security and storage device configurations.
